What the Cosmetics Regulation asks of brands
A cosmetic product can be placed on the EU market only if a Responsible Person established in the EU is designated under Article 4 of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009; the UK has the same rule under the UK Cosmetics Regulation. The Responsible Person's name and address must appear on the label, and they must hold the product information file and answer the authorities.

How it works

Open REP27 Cosmetics on AWS Marketplace, choose the plan and confirm with your AWS account.
- 2Complete the onboarding
AWS sends you to our website: safety reports (CPSR), safety assessor and products.
- 3Receive your documents
A person reviews the file; once approved you receive the signed designation, the certificate and the label block.
Questions
How many products are covered?
Cosmetics 5 covers up to 5 products, Cosmetics 20 up to 20, in the EU, the UK or both.
Who sends the invoice?
AWS. The subscription appears on your AWS bill, so you will not receive a second invoice from us.
Can I pay by card instead?
Yes. If you do not use AWS, appoint us directly on our website with card, PayPal or bank transfer.
What happens at renewal?
AWS renews the annual contract automatically and our system extends your designation on its own.
Is the safety assessment included?
No. The safety assessment (CPSR) and laboratory testing are not included; we hold and check the file and act as Responsible Person.
