How many contracts have you signed without reading?

In this market the usual sequence is: you pay, and the agreement arrives afterwards as a PDF attached to a confirmation email. By then the only question left is whether you can be bothered to read it.

Ours is published before anyone asks. EU Representative Services Agreement, Europe Services, SE and REP27 LTD, with a version number and a date, downloadable as a PDF, in thirteen languages.

Three things are worth checking in any representation agreement, ours included.

Who the parties are. Both companies should be named with their registry numbers and addresses — not a trading name and a support inbox. Section 1 names Europe Services, SE, IČO 03571785, Praha 5, and REP27 LTD, company number 17385889, Suffolk.

What you are appointing them to do. Section 2 states the designation under Article 27, and that it covers the whole European Economic Area — all 27 Member States plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, at no extra cost. Section 3 is the operational part: we publish a contact address you put in your privacy notice, we log the date a request arrives, and we forward it within two working days with the original text and the statutory deadline already calculated.

What they will not do. This is the section most providers leave vague, and the one that matters when something goes wrong. Section 4: we do not answer on the merits in your place, do not give legal advice, do not act as data protection officer, do not carry out audits or impact assessments, do not draft your privacy notice, and do not represent you in proceedings. The designation is without prejudice to legal actions brought against you — that is Article 27(5) GDPR, quoted rather than hidden.

And when the agreement changes, every active client gets an email, in their language, with what changed.

From €290 a year, €240 from the second, no fee per request. Europe Services, SE — Prague, established in the EU since 2014. REP27 LTD for the United Kingdom.

Read it before you talk to us, not after. The current version is on the site, with the list of what changed since the previous one.
