REP27New Company Promotion

New companies: pay your GDPR representative in instalments

Companies incorporated in 2026 can pay the annual fee of the REP27 EU / UK GDPR Article 27 representative in 2 to 6 monthly instalments, with no interest and no surcharge.

Open until 31 December 2026. Terms: New Companies Instalment Plan Supplement.

The programme

What is the REP27 instalment plan for new companies?

It lets newly incorporated companies pay the annual fee of the REP27 EU / UK GDPR Article 27 representative in equal monthly instalments, with no interest and no surcharge. The service, the documents and the designation are exactly the same as with a single payment: only the payment is spread over months.

Who provides the service?

Europe Services, SE (Prague, Czech Republic, IČO 03571785, active since 2014) is the EU representative and issues all invoices. REP27 LTD (England and Wales, company no. 17385889) signs the UK appointments.

Is it a loan or a credit agreement?

No. Nobody lends money and there is no credit check. The company simply pays the annual fee in parts.

Is it a discount?

No, it is not a discount: the price is the same as paying once. The advantage is cash flow: a new company can spread the annual fee over several months at no extra cost.

Why do you offer it only to new companies?

Newly incorporated companies often have to comply from day one while their cash flow is still starting. The instalments let them be compliant immediately without paying the whole year upfront.

Is it available every year?

Yes. Every year the programme opens on 1 January for the companies incorporated in that year and closes on the last day of the month shown on the order page.

Until when can I order it this year?

In 2026 the programme is open until 31 December 2026.

How do I know if the programme is open right now?

The New Company Promotion page (https://gdprrepresentative.com/new-companies.php?lang=en) shows whether it is open and until when. If it is closed, the page says so.

Does paying in instalments change the service?

No. Same plan, same documents, same verification page, same request desk and same response times as a single payment.

Can I ask about it through ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. The REP27 connector for AI assistants returns the instalment plan details and the link to the order page when you ask for prices.

Eligibility

Who can use the instalment plan?

Companies whose date of incorporation, as recorded in the official company register of their country, falls in the current calendar year (2026).

Is it only for companies incorporated in 2026?

Yes, for orders placed in 2026. In 2027 it will be open to companies incorporated in 2027.

My company was incorporated last year. Can I use it?

No, the plan is only for companies incorporated in the current calendar year. You can still take the same plans with a single annual payment or start with the 7-day free trial, with no card required.

My company was incorporated on 31 December of last year. Does it count?

No. What counts is the calendar year of the date of incorporation in the register; it must be 2026.

My company is not incorporated yet. Can I order now?

Not yet: the date of incorporation cannot be in the future. Order as soon as the company appears in the register, or start the 7-day free trial if you need cover immediately.

We are a new subsidiary of an existing group. Are we eligible?

Yes, if the company placing the order (the subsidiary) has its own date of incorporation in 2026. The date of the parent company does not matter.

Can a private individual use it?

No, it is a business offer for companies.

I am a sole trader registered this year. Am I eligible?

The plan is for companies recorded in an official company register. Write to info@gdprrepresentative.com with your registration details and we will tell you whether it applies.

We own several new companies. Can each one use the plan?

Yes. Each company incorporated in 2026 can order its own plan in instalments; each company has its own designation.

Our company is established in the EU. Do we need this?

Usually not: a company established in the EU or EEA does not need an Article 27 representative, because the GDPR applies to it directly. The representative is required for companies outside the EU that offer goods or services to people in the EU or monitor their behaviour.

We are a UK company. Can we use it?

Yes. A UK company that targets people in the EU needs an EU representative, and the plan covers the EU. A company outside the UK that targets people in the UK needs a UK representative; the EU + UK option covers both.

Do I need a representative?

What is an Article 27 GDPR representative?

A person or company established in the EU that a non-EU controller or processor must designate in writing when it offers goods or services to people in the EU or monitors their behaviour (Article 3(2) GDPR). Authorities and individuals can address the representative in addition to, or instead of, the company abroad.

What happens if we do not appoint one?

Failing to designate a representative is a standalone infringement under Article 83(4)(a) GDPR: fines up to EUR 10 million or 2% of total worldwide annual turnover. The Dutch authority fined Locatefamily.com EUR 525,000 on this ground.

Is there an exemption?

Public authorities are exempt, and so is occasional processing that does not include large-scale special-category or criminal data and is unlikely to result in a risk. The exemption is read narrowly: a website or app used regularly by people in the EU or UK is usually not occasional.

How can I check whether my company needs a representative?

Use the free check on gdprrepresentative.com or ask the REP27 assistant in ChatGPT or Claude. If your company does not need one, we say so clearly.

Is the UK obligation separate?

Yes. After Brexit, UK GDPR Article 27 requires a separate UK representative for companies outside the UK that target people in the UK. The EU + UK option gives you both designations in one order.

Is a GDPR representative the same as a DPO?

No. The representative is the contact point in the EU or UK. It does not replace a Data Protection Officer and does not give legal advice.

VAT, currency and invoices

How is my EU VAT number checked?

Through the European Commission's VIES system at checkout.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Where no VAT is charged you can pay in USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, CZK, JPY or NOK. EU companies pay in euros.

How is the amount in my currency calculated?

Each instalment is converted from its euro amount at the European Central Bank reference rate of the day of the charge, so it can vary slightly from one instalment to the next; the euro amount never changes.

Who pays bank or card conversion fees?

Conversion charges of your bank or card issuer are borne by you.

In which currency are the invoices?

Always in euros. The contractual price is the euro amount.

Do I get an invoice for each instalment?

Yes, an invoice or receipt is issued for every instalment received. You find them in the client area.

Who issues the invoices?

Europe Services, SE, also for UK designations.

Free trial

Can I start with a free trial?

Yes: 7 days free, with no card required.

Is the designation valid during the trial?

Yes. It is active and publicly verifiable from day one.

When do I pay the first instalment if I start the trial?

On the last day of the trial: you receive a secure payment link by email. The schedule of the following instalments starts from the day the first instalment is actually paid.

What if I do not pay the first instalment at the end of the trial?

The trial ends and the designation is suspended and then revoked, as for any free trial. There is no grace period for the first instalment.

Can I end the trial early and pay?

Yes, you can pay the first instalment before the trial ends from the link you receive or from the client area.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No card is required for the trial. A payment method is needed only when you pay the first instalment.

Payments

How do I pay the first instalment?

At checkout, or through the secure payment link sent by email at the end of the free trial. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V.

How are the following instalments charged?

Automatically, one month after the previous one, on the same calendar day as the first payment, to the same card or payment method.

What if my payment day does not exist in a month?

In a month without that day, the instalment is charged on the last day of the month.

Will I be reminded before each charge?

Yes: an email reminder 2 days before every automatic charge.

Where can I see my payment schedule?

In the approval email and, at any time, in the client area, with dates and amounts.

Does REP27 store my card details?

Card payments are handled by Mollie B.V., a licensed payment institution. By paying the first instalment you authorise the following charges to the same payment method.

Can I pay the remaining instalments early?

Yes, on request to info@gdprrepresentative.com. There is no discount for early payment.

Can I change the card used for the instalments?

Yes. Write to info@gdprrepresentative.com; if a charge fails you also receive a payment link by email and can pay with another card.

My card is expiring. What should I do?

Keep the payment method valid and funded. If a charge fails you receive a payment link by email and can pay with another card.

Can I choose the day of the month for the charges?

The charges follow the calendar day of your first payment, so the day you pay the first instalment sets the day of the following ones.

Late or failed payments

What if an instalment fails?

We tell you by email and send a link to pay it. We retry automatically after 3 days, up to 2 more attempts.

Does my designation stop immediately?

No. It stays active for 8 days from the first failed attempt.

What happens after the 8 days?

If the instalment is still unpaid, the designation is suspended: the verification page shows it as suspended and it no longer covers the company. You are told by email.

How do I reactivate a suspended designation?

Pay the overdue instalments: the designation is reactivated immediately.

Does suspension cancel the instalments?

No, they remain due.

What happens if I never pay?

If amounts remain unpaid 60 days after the suspension, the designation may be terminated and revoked; the instalments of the year remain due and may be recovered.

Commitment and cancellation

Is it an annual commitment?

Yes, twelve months. All instalments of the year remain due.

Can I cancel during the year?

You can ask to end the designation at any time and we revoke it, but the instalments of the current year remain due.

Do I get a refund if I stop early?

No, except when we end the service during the year for a reason not attributable to you: then the instalments not yet due are cancelled and anything paid for the period after the end is refunded in proportion.

Is there a notice period to stop the renewal?

No. You can stop the renewal at any time from the client area or by email, with no notice period and no penalty.

What happens when I stop the renewal?

The designation simply ends at its expiry date; stopping the renewal takes effect from the following year.

Renewal

Does the plan renew automatically?

Yes, unless you stop it. From the second year the plan renews in the same number of instalments, at the renewal fee, as a new twelve-month commitment.

When am I told about the renewal?

30 days before the designation expires you receive by email the schedule of the new year.

When is the first instalment of the second year charged?

10 days before the expiry date, so the designation never lapses. When it is paid, the designation is extended by twelve months.

Can I pay the second year faster?

Yes: on request to info@gdprrepresentative.com you can pay the remaining instalments early. There is no discount for early payment.

Can renewal prices change?

Renewal fees follow the REP27 Terms and Conditions; the fee applicable is shown in the schedule sent 30 days before expiry.

Changes

Can I upgrade my plan during the year?

Yes, by written agreement with us, for example from Base to Standard. The price difference is calculated for the remaining term; the scheduled instalments continue unchanged unless agreed otherwise.

Can I add the UK (or the EU) later?

Yes, it is a change of plan agreed in writing; write to info@gdprrepresentative.com.

Can I change the number of instalments after ordering?

Any change to the schedule is agreed in writing with us; write to info@gdprrepresentative.com.

Our company details changed. What do we do?

Tell us at info@gdprrepresentative.com so we can update the designation and the verification page.

Eligibility check

How do you check the date of incorporation?

At checkout you give the company name, country, registration number and date of incorporation. We check them against the public company register, directly or with an automated search followed, where needed, by a check by our staff.

Which registers do you use?

The official register of your country, for example Companies House, US state registries, MCA India, SECP Pakistan, ACRA, and international sources such as OpenCorporates.

What if my company cannot be found in the register yet?

You can declare, under your own responsibility, that the date given is correct. The declaration is recorded with its date and time and reviewed by us before approval.

Can you ask for documents?

Yes, during the first year we may ask for a certificate of incorporation or an extract from the register.

What if the date turns out to be wrong?

Before approval we may decline the instalment plan and refund what was paid under it; after approval we may ask for the remaining balance of the annual fee in a single payment within fourteen days. False information is also a ground for termination.
